Wonderful service and very friendly staff – they’ve been working with Zeke to most effectively treat his heartworm condition. The staff was very considerate during the lumbar injection and Zeke didn’t yelp or feel much at all. Took it like a champ!

I moved to Oregon a few weeks ago and my dog needed a check up due to the intense meds he was on for MMM. When we arrived the vet immediately knew something was not right and it wasn’t just the meds making him act tired like we previously thought. To our surprise he had liver failure and a bad infection from his immune system being lowered by the meds. We had to choose whether to put him down or take the slim chance and bring him home and see if the antibiotics could save him. We were completely shocked but needless to say we took him home and we’re so happy to say he’s ok. This was 100% because of our wonderful veterinarian Dr. Whalen at Willakenzie AC. We had no idea how bad he was and we are so thankful they worked us in on a busy day and literally saved his life. Our 1.5yr old Rottie is looking like he will see his 2nd birthday and that’s truly priceless. Thank you Dr. Whalen for saving our boy and making us WAC family for life ❤️
This clinic is great! The vet tech was very friendly but calm, which immediately created a sense of calm for me and my dog. I like the setup they have for intakes and covid-19 precautions are still being followed (thank you). Everything was clean, organized, and professional. The vet tech asked some great questions and took detailed notes–a fantastic listener and she attended to all of my concerns. The veterinarian was really amazing–very friendly, tuned into my needs and my dog’s needs, listened and explained along the way, and took care of everything. Both the veterinarian and tech were skilled in handling my scared and anxious dog and they had some solid tricks for making things run smoothly. Checked in with me multiple times about my thoughts and feedback (e.g., medications, willingness to soothe my dog as they did a blood draw, etc.). Super easy (in the room) checkout process. Taking my second dog there next week! Loved the follow-up call and information on his test results.
We’ve been happy customers of the Willakenzie Animal Clinic since 1991. Their knowledge, compassion, and service are second to none. We moved across town 26 years ago and still take our animals all the way over there because we’re so satisfied with this clinic.
The doctors and staff at Willakenzie clinic are very caring and always helpful. Our dog has special needs and we trust and value the care he receives there.
